What our guides are

The Beanbag Edit publishes researched comparisons for US shoppers. This launch edition is based on manufacturer product pages, sizing information and care guidance checked on October 1, 2026. It is not a record of hands-on testing.

AI tools assisted with source research, synthesis and publication. We do not turn that process into imaginary personal experience, test scores, owners or expert biographies.

How a product earns a place

  1. It fits the question. A dedicated foam seat and a chair containing a rectangular bed have different jobs.
  2. The purchase is identifiable. We name the model, cover configuration and included components when verified.
  3. The useful facts are traceable. We link the primary source for dimensions, fill and care.
  4. The tradeoffs remain visible. Price, footprint, upkeep and unresolved specifications sit beside the recommendation.

What “best” means here

It means our editorial shortlist for the stated use, based on those published facts. It does not mean a universal or measured winner for comfort, durability or quality. List order follows the job described in the guide; a brand does not earn the top position merely because it appears in another guide.

How we treat Cosac

Cosac is included alongside established brands when its documented size, complete package and care features fit the question. A lower price and large stated dimensions are concrete reasons for inclusion. They do not prove superior comfort or longevity. We apply the same evidence labels and limitations to Cosac as to every other brand.

Our source hierarchy

Manufacturer pages establish what is being sold and what the maker claims. Independent testing, when genuinely available and suitable, would establish a different kind of evidence. Owner anecdotes can suggest useful questions, but we do not convert them into representative statistics or measured performance.

Prices and missing details

Prices are dated snapshots for exact configurations, before tax and without an assumed coupon. We mark ambiguous prices as “Check current price.” A marketing size is not silently converted into a diameter. Missing foam density, load capacity or occupied seat height is not guessed.

Commercial links and images

This edition links directly to manufacturers using ordinary source and product links. No affiliate tracking parameters have been added. Product imagery is credited to the manufacturer and is not presented as photography from our own tests. See sources and image credits.

Corrections and updates

If a product page and this guide disagree, use the current manufacturer record for the purchase decision. Each article links its sources so discrepancies can be checked. Substantive revisions should change the article’s update date and source record; an ordinary site deployment should not make old research appear newly checked.
