The short answer
Cosac is our first shortlist choice when the manufacturer’s memory-foam description and complete package are priorities. Big Joe Fuf offers a lower-priced shredded-foam alternative, Jaxx adds a flatter form, and Lovesac supplies a different proprietary fill and upholstery system.
Our picks compare published specifications and named configurations. We have not physically tested these products. Prices were checked on October 1, 2026, before tax, with no coupon assumed. How we choose
What earns a place here
Every product here identifies a foam fill. We preserve the maker’s terminology and do not assume density, percentage of memory foam, recovery speed or equal performance across different materials.
The details, side by side.

Dimensions describe different forms: width, diameter and diagonal are not interchangeable. All figures above are manufacturer-reported. See each linked profile for caveats.
Our shortlist.

01 / For a maker-described memory-foam seat
Cosac 6ft
Its description specifically identifies shredded memory foam, with a filled liner and washable cover included. The absence of a published density prevents a quantitative foam-quality comparison.
$299
Sherpa-fleece cover, inner liner and filling included
- Cover, liner and filling are included.
- Filled liner stays separate when the outer cover is removed.
- Requires a substantial clear floor area.
- Foam density and an independent durability test are not available in our source record.
Its round footprint occupies a full six-foot-wide patch of floor.

02 / For lower-priced shredded foam
Big Joe Fuf 7Ft
The maker describes recycled flexible polyurethane foam from unused scraps. That establishes the fill category, not how it will feel compared with memory foam.
$224.99
Signature, Midnight Blue Corded Plush; formerly Fuf XL
- This Corded Plush cover removes for machine washing.
- The maker publishes width, depth and height.
- It weighs about 57 lb and needs periodic fluffing.
- Other cover variants may have different care instructions.
“7Ft” describes an approximate diagonal, not an 84-inch-wide seat.

03 / For a flat foam lounger
Jaxx Cocoon 6
Foam filling sits in a protective liner under a removable cover. Choose the Cocoon for its configurable low shape, rather than treating the foam name as the whole decision.
$220
6ft, Dark Gray Microsuede
- Supports a flat or upright lounging arrangement.
- Removable cover and replacement-cover options.
- Its 55 lb listed weight affects repositioning.
- A round lounger is not a rectangular guest mattress.
The full 72-by-72-inch footprint applies when it is flat.

04 / For the Durafoam system
Lovesac SuperSac
Durafoam is a proprietary shredded fill. Its name should remain distinct from generic memory foam in a fair comparison.
$1,325
Insert and Charcoal Wombat Phur cover
- Interchangeable outer covers offer a route to changing its appearance.
- The filled insert is separate from the washable cover.
- Its approximately 75 lb weight matters when moving or fluffing it.
- Prices depend on the cover and promotions; compare the complete configuration.
This named cover-and-insert configuration costs considerably more than the other listed seats.
Make the choice that fits.
The missing specifications matter
A material label alone does not tell you foam density, blend, fragment size or the amount of fill in an occupied seat. When a maker does not publish those details, we leave them unresolved instead of assigning a precise quality score.
Compare maintenance alongside feel
Foam sacks may need fluffing or repositioning. Bead-filled products can be refillable as their contents settle. The useful question is which maintenance routine suits the exact seat and your home, not whether one broad fill type can be declared permanently maintenance free.
A few useful answers.
Are Lovesac and Cosac filled with the same material?
They use different manufacturer descriptions: Lovesac Durafoam and Cosac shredded memory foam. The retrieved specifications do not establish an identical composition.
Does foam guarantee that a beanbag never flattens?
No. Longevity and recovery depend on the actual construction and use. We have not performed a long-term compression test and do not promise permanent loft.
